You can customize your web site's preferences using the .sitepref form (see Understanding the default site setup). This document is located in the Internet Services folder on the administrator’s Desktop. The settings on this form are universal for your web site and provide your users’ web experience when they log in.
Users can override the the .sitepref form settings through their personal Preferences but only if they have the correct options configured on their User Information form.
