Want an easy way to keep track of your work? Create FirstClass folders in your Mailbox such as Work in Progress, To Do, Completed, and so on. In each of these containers, you can maintain documents you are working on and track your progress with each.
Michael Green is the VP of Sales and Marketing at Husky Planes. Michael wants an easy way to monitor his work and to store correspondence for each task, so he creates the following folders:
Work in progress: to house tasks that he is currently working on
TO DO Today: to remind himself of tasks that need immediate attention
Completed: to archive tasks as he completes them.
This is what the left pane of his Mailbox looks like:
Within each container, Michael creates subfolders for each task, which house all of his documents and correspondence related to that particular task. Whenever Michael completes a task in TO DO Today or Work in Progress, he moves the document to Completed.
Michael has also set up areas to automatically file his incoming mail and sent mail.
