Features we use:
Have you ever needed to make an important call to a colleague or client and realized you don't have their contact information with you? Use FirstClass Voice Services to access your FirstClass contacts by telephone.
The following example uses the FirstClass Telephone User Interface (TUI). If you are using a different interface, refer to the Voice Services documentation for your particular system.
Melissa Stewart, Marketing Manager at Husky Planes, has set up the FirstClass TUI so she can access FirstClass content from her phone.
To set up FirstClass TUI, she does the following:
1 She logs into her FirstClass account.
2 She chooses File > Preferences, and clicks on the Messaging tab and the Voice subtab.
3 She sets Emulation to FirstClass and clicks OK.
Melissa goes to her son's hockey games on Wednesdays after work. Melissa is at the arena one night when she realizes she forgot to return a call to an important client. She knows the client usually works late and would probably be in the office if she called. Melissa uses FirstClass TUI to retrieve the client's contact information and place the call from her cell phone.
To pick up her contact's information using her cell phone, she does the following:
1 She dials into the FirstClass Unified Communications system for Husky Planes.
2 She enters her Mailbox number, followed by# when prompted.
3 She enters her password, followed by # when prompted.
Melissa can obtain her organization's Unified Communications number, Mailbox number and password from her administrator.
4 She presses 2 to open her Contacts folder.
5 She spells the last name and first initial of the client she wishes to contact using the phone's key pad.
6 She chooses the desired contact by following the prompt.
7 She presses 9 to place a call to the client.
Melissa can also navigate the Contacts folder using the commands below.
