About graphics fields
A graphics field contains a graphic that can't be edited by users.
In addition to icons and image viewers, you can add the following types of graphics fields to a form:
line |
A straight line. |
rectangle |
A rectangle drawn with an outline or filled with a color. |
round rectangle |
A rectangle with rounded corners. |
oval |
An oval drawn with an outline or filled with a color. |
Adding other graphics types
To add a graphics field other than an icon or image viewer:
1 Choose Fields > Graphics, then the type of graphic you want to add.
2 Add this field to the form.
3 Select the color you want for the graphic at "Foreground" on the Sizes/Colors tab of the Field Attributes form, if you want a color other than black.
This automatically selects "Color" on the Attributes tab.
Tips for lines
A line is always drawn from the top left corner to the bottom right corner of the field.
If you don't resize the field as you draw it, you will get a horizontal line.
To create a diagonal line, widen the field. To flip the direction of the diagonal line, select "Draw top right to bottom left" on the Contents tab of the Field Attributes form.
To create a vertical line, resize the field until it looks vertical.
The default line thickness of 1 results in an embossed look when viewed in 3D mode. To change the thickness of a line, change the value at "Thickness" on the Contents tab.
