You can customize how FirstClass Designer behaves in a number of ways. For example, you can specify what to do when duplicate resource IDs are detected, and whether to automatically save your work.
To change a preference:
1 Choose Edit > Preferences.
Mac
Choose FirstClassョ Designer > Preferences.
2 Update the Preferences form as required.
Autosave |
Saves your updates automatically at the time you specify at "Interval". |
Create backup |
Creates a backup file (.bak) when you open a settings file. |
Number of files to list |
Specifies the number of recently opened settings files to display when you choose File > Open Recent. |
Duplicate resources |
Select what you want FirstClass Designer to do whenever it detects resources with duplicate resource IDs. |
Save form when closed |
Automatically saves forms when you close them. Be cautious about selecting this, because you won't be given the opportunity to discard your changes when you close forms. |
3D look |
Works just like the 3D preference in the FirstClass client. |
To change a preference without closing the Preferences form, click Apply.
