Computer system requirements
Run Voice Services on a dedicated machine that meets the following minimum specifications.
 NotesThese specifications are the minimum requirements only. With added load, other processes configured on the same machine, or large systems, exceed these specifications.
If you prefer to run Voice Services on the same machine as your FirstClass server and/or Internet Services, these minimum specifications must be added to the system requirements of the other components. Minimum system requirements for the FirstClass server, Internet Services and the FirstClass client can be found at www.firstclass.com/products/SysReq/.
� Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows 2003
The machine will have a high-end graphics card and a network card installed.
This machine can be gatewayed to a FirstClass server running on a Mac OS.
� processor speed: 1 GHz single processor
� 10 GB internal hard disk space
� 512 MB RAM
� one PCI slot available for each Dialogic voice and fax card
� FirstClass client installed on the Voice Services machine.
This must be from the same release as your server.
Telephony hardware requirements
4-port option
� one D42 JCTUPCIUNIV 4-port Digital PBX Integration board
� one VFX 41JCTLS 4 fax resource board
For this combination of boards:
� join boards using a CT Bus Cable
� the D42 board has no rotary switch, it auto selects the board ID
� the VFX board Must be set using the rotary switch, recommended setting is 4 or higher
Additional D42 boards may be installed without adjusting board IDs.
8-port option
� one D82 JCTUPCIUNIV 8-port Digital PBX Integration board
� one VFX 41JCTLS 4 fax resource board
For this combination of boards:
� join boards using a CT Bus Cable
� the D82 board has no rotary switch, it auto selects the board ID
� the VFX board Must be set using the rotary switch, recommended setting is 4 or higher
Additional D82 boards may be installed without adjusting board IDs
Both options
� PBX Integration-specific station interface cable (separate part order from D42/D82)
