Connecting Voice Services to the FirstClass server
When you install Voice Services and its components, three objects are created automatically:
� a gateway between the Voice Services machine and the FirstClass server
� a Call Answer user account
� a callans.fc settings file to log into the Call Answer account over the Voice Services gateway.
 NoteIf any of these were not created automatically, create them manually.
These objects are used to connect Voice Services to your FirstClass system. Before connecting, you have to enter passwords for your system:
Gateway password:
1 Log into your server as admin (or as a user with subadmin access).
2 Open the Voice gateway in the Gateways folder on the administrator's Desktop.
3 Enter a password for the gateway.
Call Answer account password:
1 Log into your server as admin (or as a user with subadmin access).
2 Open the Call Answer user account User Information form.
3 Enter a numeric password in the password field.
4 Enter the same numeric password in the voice password field at the bottom right of the form.
Callans.fc settings file:
1 Open the callans.fc settings file (double-click callans.fc in drive:\FCServer\vs.
2 Enter the same numeric password you entered twice on the User Information form in the password field.
3 Click Save.
4 Log in to ensure the password works.
5 Log out.
