After installing the Log Analyzer, you must perform some initial setup procedures. These procedures only need to be performed once unless you change the format of your statistics files in the Statistics Control form on your administrator's Desktop.
To set up the Log Analyzer:
1 Create the Input Files folder on your client machine.
2 Download statistics files to the Input Files folder.
3 Set the Log Analyzer parameters.
The Settings button, located in the Log Analyzer main window, allows you to set these parameters. The first parameter you need to set is the statistics file type. Depending on the type chosen, you may also need to adjust your statistics file format settings accordingly.
