Page appearance
A FirstClass page showing the contents of a container normally consists of:
• tabs that take you to different parts of your FirstClass workspace
• a summary bar that shows the name of the container, the name of the server, your user name, and the amount of your allotted disk space (storage quota) that you have left on the server
• a left pane that shows any subcontainers in this container in a Folders list, plus toolbar buttons
• a right pane that shows toolbar buttons that affect the items (such as messages) in this container, plus a list of the items
• toolbar buttons at the bottom of the page that let you perform basic FirstClass tasks such as changing your password.

Customizing page appearance
You can change the following by updating your web preferences:
• the general FirstClass appearance and feature set
• the maximum number of objects to list per page
• the size of icons
• the number of columns to display when in an icon view.

Your choices won't work if your administrator hasn't made them accessible on your server.
