They have created a conference structure that allows them to:
•       brainstorm using a conference they call Brainstorm
•       gather information within a conference called Storage Room
•       store deliverables in a conference called Completed Stages
•       schedule meetings and manage tasks in a calendar
•       hold meetings through instant messaging (Meeting Room)
•       showcase the final product in a conference called Final Product.

A transcript of each instant messaging session is saved to the Mailbox of the instant messaging session's creator when she closes the session. In this case, that person is usually the secretary. She then forwards the transcipt to the Storage Room conference.

9203_31808_2.png Stage 5: Brainstorming
The Gurus use their Brainstorm conference to communicate with each other when they are in different locations. They also use it to summarize brainstorming sessions. Here is the result of a brainstorming session they held recently. The secretary put their notes into a graphic organizer, and then posted the results to a conference so everyone could see and then build on the initial ideas.

The Gurus use their calendar to manage each task. They track the details of each task, and it is always available for everyone to see.

The Gurus collect the majority of their information from the Internet, books, and an English studies newsgroup. They also fax photocopies of graphics into FirstClass and drag them into their Storage Room conference. Here is their Storage Room conference with some of the ideas they have gathered.

9203_31808_2.png Stage 8: Compiling the project
The teacher gave the students a lot of freedom over their projects, so the Gurus used FirstClass documents to display their projects. They added backgrounds and graphics too. Here is a look at their compiled project.
