How the default rules.MailRules file works
By default, the rules.MailRules document protects your system, although you can modify the document to accommodate your needs. The default rules.MailRules document contains
•       Rules to allow trusted sites, IP addresses, and email addresses to bypass rules processing
•       Crosspost limits (messages with over 15 total recipients are likely to be spam)

If you use crossposting to indicate spam on your system, you should add any valid mailing lists that routinely come into your system to your trusted addresses list, since they may contain large numbers of recipients.
•       NDN mail if the IP address is in the spam IP list
•       messages get either NDNed or injected with a warning header, junk header, spam header, or a warning icon, based on the UCE/Spam form settings and spam scores:
• extreme scoring spam (>100), either NDN or inject a warning header, red warning icon,

and set Priority as junk
• if spam score is High (50-100), inject both warning header and red warning icon

and set Priority as junk
• if spam score is Medium (25-50), inject warning header, spam level header, and orange warning icon

• if spam score is Low (10-25), inject warning header, spam level header, and green warning icon
