Selecting parts of tables

Position the cursor to the left of the row. Click when the cursor looks like this: Linux Position the cursor inside the leftmost cell of the row and point it at the left side of the cell. Click when the cursor turns into a

Position the cursor above the column. Click when the cursor looks like this: Linux Position the cursor inside the top cell of the column and point it at the top of the cell. Click when the cursor turns into a pointer. |

You can select content in table cells just as you do content elsewhere.
Extending selections
To select additional rows or columns:
• Shift-click them
or
• press Shift plus the appropriate arrow key.
You can also click the top left cell of the area you want to select, then drag the cursor and release it at the bottom right cell.
Selecting whole tables
To select an entire table, choose Edit > Table > Select Table.
